Hampshire Thrashers

        American Football Team

The Hampshire Thrashers are a local American Football team playing in the National League. We currently have almost 100 members from West Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.

Entering our 5^th season we are looking to join forces with local businesses in order to assist the various teams to achieve their goals for 2009.

The senior team is expecting to push for the National Div 2 title this year with a squad of over 60 players.

Our youth team will be preparing for its first season in the National League in 2010, the squad boasts an array of talent aged 16-19 year old which will ensure a local crop of new talent is ready to step up to the senior ranks.

How can you help?

The club is always looking for business willing to help with the running of the club. Currently the club is completely self-funded by dedicated players, but its development is limited unless additional support is found. If you are interested in sponsoring the team in return for media coverage, advertising directly from our website and gameday programmes and game shirt advertising please contact us.

Secondly if you are willing and able to offer items that can be auctioned or raffled this is another way to help. We are due to hold a Superbowl party on the 1^st Feb with other functions to follow where this would be of great use.

Finally we are hoping local vendors will like to participate in our membership scheme. With membership expected to top 100 people this season joining our scheme will give you great exposure and you will then be the first place where people will look. A 10-20% discount at your store will not cost you a penny and will likely increase your sales. All members will have direct links (where available) to websites ensuring our web traffic visits you first.
